Introducing the Italamp Piola from the Incanto collection - a visionary masterpiece where light transcends its traditional role and emerges as a structural and architectural wonder. The stunning design was unveiled to the world at the Euroluce 2023: The City of Lights | Salone del Mobile in April 2023. This exceptional creation was conceived by the ingenious designer Danilo De Rossi, who embarked on a journey inspired by the concept of a luminous diaphragm.

The Piola lighting fixture reimagines illumination by constructing a modular grid composed of meticulously braided tubes, interlaced with cast glass bars. What sets it apart is the intricate texture of delicate micro-bubbles that enriches these glass bars, adding a mesmerizing dimension to the design.

Like a refined architectural veil, Piola emanates an aura of decorative and illuminating authority. Comprising cast glass bars adorned with internal micro-bubbles, brought to life by the soft radiance of integrated LEDs, it transforms any space into a captivating work of art.

The metal structure, available in both light gold and chrome finishes, not only provides stability but also accentuates the fixture's overall aesthetics. He has been practising as an architect and designer in Venice since the 1980s, and the lagoon contiguity developed an ever-increasing affinity with the artistic production of glass and thus of decorative lighting He soon earned a master's degree in lighting design at the Milan Polytechnic, which propelled him into the role of interpreter of contemporary lighting design, in glass, characterising the Creative Direction for LEUCOS 1996/2015 and De Majo Murano since 1994. In 2016 he began his collaboration with ITALAMP where he serves as Art Director. For the same companies he designs lamp collections that earn him significant international awards such as Good Design Award - Chicago, Best Booth Design - Las Vegas, Wallpaper Design - UK and IDA Award - Los Angeles. Furniture, lighting and objects form the professional background that he transfers to teaching Product and Lighting at the Raffles Institute of Fashion and Design in Milan.
